Created in 1945, with the diplomatic and multilateral objective of maintaining good relations between countries and verifying respect for the human rights inherent to all, the UN is the largest international human rights organization and has several agencies and mechanisms in the most diverse countries. .

Created in 1948, the OAS is the main international human rights organization covering only the American region, with the participation of 35 countries from North America, Central America and South America.

INTERNATIONAL HUMAN RIGHTS DOCUMENTS

The Charter of the United Nations is the founding document of the United Nations and is considered an international treaty.

The Universal Declaration of Human Rights is an important  document issued by the United Nations in 1948, in which 30 universal rights of all human beings are listed.

The Universal Declaration of Human Rights is the basis that supports the elaboration of several documents, treaties and conventions that aim to regularize and expand global access to human rights.

Eliminating violence against women, among other forms of gender discrimination such as; denial of access to education for girls and institutional gender discrimination, including the lack of job opportunities for women in different areas and in different countries, are constant concerns of international human rights bodies and agencies. Check below which are some of the international mechanisms that deal with the subject, stablishing the responsibilities of the countries that participate and sign documents that guarantee the rights of women and girls.
